‘Building Boom’ of high rise towers downtown creating surplus of apartments

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — If you’ve been downtown in the last several months you have probably noticed the “Building Boom.”

High rise towers have been popping up all over the East Village, with the prices usually being fairly high.

But there have been new building and so many available apartments that the prices for these apartments are actually going down.

KUSI’s Dan Plante was live in the heart of the East Village with this Special Report.
