CA Dems. propose government takeover of state healthcare

SACRAMENTO (KUSI) – Last week Democrats in California’s Legislature introduced AB 1400, a controversial healthcare overhaul bill that could triple the taxes paid by California residents.

The proposal would ban private insurance in the state and create a massive, government run state program called CalCare.
