CA ranks 48th worst state in taxpayer return on investment

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – California is ranking as one of the worst states for taxpayer return on investment, according to the website WalletHub. California ranked the 48th worst return.

The only other states lower are New Mexico at 49 and Hawaii at 50.

On the other side of the list are New Hampshire, South Dakota, and Florida ranking as the top three respectively.
