Cabrillo National Monument reopens after government shutdown closure

SAN DIEGO (KUSI)- Cabrillo National Monument opened back up today for the first time in over a month. More than 20,000 national park employees were unable to work at more than 400 national parks during the shutdown.

Staff are excited to get back and welcome communities to their sites.
