Cal Fire submits report on protecting CA’s most vulnerable communities
SAN DIEGO (KUSI)- Cal Fire submitted a 45 day report to Governor Gavin Newsom this Tuesday. The report identifies high priority fuel reduction projects in order to protect over 200 of California’s most wildfire vulnerable communities.
Officials say the two neighborhoods in San Diego that require urgent attention are Crest and Guatay.
The report also says to use Cal Fire’s ‘Ready for Wildfire’ app to learn how to make your home more defensible against wildfires.
