California Innocence Project hosts premiere of “Brian Banks”

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The California Innocence Project premiered “Brian Banks,” a movie about NFL player Brian Banks.

The movie is about how Banks, after being recruited to play football at USC, was wrongfully convicted of rape. A decade later, his accuser admitted that the story was made up.

The California Innocence Project helped get Banks’ conviction overturned.
