Californians are Googling pranks to pull on Halloween

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – With Halloween just around the corner, CenturyLinkQuote used Google Trends to look at what Americans searched for near All Hallow’s Eve last year.

They figured out Californians are googling about the ‘best Halloween pranks’ on Halloween.

Some other interesting finds include:

  • Illinois may be Googling “razor blade in candy” due to a previous incident in 2012 where a local did find a razor blade in his daughter’s Halloween candy.
  • Five states—Arkansas, Iowa, Missouri, Tennessee and Vermont—seem to be unclear about the holiday, as they are searching “What is Halloween?” most.
  • Three states are searching whether or not Halloween is satanic—Georgia, Ohio, and Virginia.What-Your-State-is-Googling-Halloween-Map.png
