Caltrans spends more than $6.3 million a year on removing litter, graffiti

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Caltrans District 11 said it spends more the $6.3 million dollars annually removing litter, debris, graffiti from the highway, this total includes storm water prevention.

Caltrans Corridor Director Mario Orso explained the departments’ new nine-step process to maximize litter collection work.
