Camp Pendleton Marines accused of assaulting pregnant woman
Two Camp Pendleton Marines are accused of assaulting a pregnant woman in Redding, California.
Lance corporals Jeffrey Walton and Lance Swann, along with Swann's cousin allegedly worked together to stage a robbery, then attacked a woman carrying Swann's child.
Investigators say the two men attempted to cause a miscarriage by kicking the woman in the stomach.
The victim later delivered a premature but healthy baby boy. Swann and Walton face attempted murder, assault and robbery charges.
