Car lodged in parking structure wall downtown

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — A car crashed through the wall of fourth-story of a high-rise parking garage Friday night and dangled over the edge of the hole it made. 

It happened around 6:30 p.m. near 3rd Avenue and J Street. The driver said her foot got stuck under the brake pedal and hit the accelerator instead. 

No one was injured and the driver was not facing any charges.

Inspectors were called to the scene to make sure there were no structural threats.
