Carl DeMaio campaigns for the 50th Congressional District

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Candidate Carl DeMaio joins KUSI to discuss his campaign for the 50th Congressional District race.

DeMaio is campaigning to eliminate the special exemptions which are granted to Congress. He has proposed docking Congress members’ pay for each day they’re late with the budget. This is in hopes of ending the perks and pensions awarded to members of Congress.

Congressman Duncan D. Hunter currently holds the 50th Congressional District seat.
