Carlsbad Best Western latest target of armed robbery

CARLSBAD (KUSI) – Carlsbad Police Department responded to reports of an armed hotel robbery this morning just before 4:00 a.m.

Police say the clerk at a Best Western on Macadamia Drive in Carlsbad was robbed at gunpoint.

The suspect escaped with an unknown amount of cash.

There have been no reports of the suspect’s description yet, and police are searching the area for the suspect.
