Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce welcomes new leadership for 2019

The Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce recently selected its new CEO, Bret Schanzenbach, who officially began his new position starting in February.

Schanzenbach will succeed former Carlsbad Chamber CEO, Ted Owen, who officially retired from the position in January.

The Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce claims to have more than 1,200 members, the Carlsbad Chamber is the second largest chamber in San Diego county and the 10th largest in California.

The upcoming Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce Business Achievement and Distinction Awards is scheduled for April 4th. This year we are combining our annual awards and small business awards into one big event.

Also the Green Business Expo which is organized by the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce Green Business Committee is coming up. This event will be open to the public but there’s a $5 suggested donation towards the Flower Fields Foundation educational programs, according to the CBAD.
