Carlsbad school vandalism
Two juveniles were apprehended early Sunday at Carlsbad
High School and arrested on suspicion of commercial burglary, and five others
were arrested on suspicion of trespassing and released to their parents'
custody.
Carlsbad Police Lt. Peter Pascual said a call came in about 1 a.m. about
vandalism at the school at 3557 Monroe St.
Pascual said extensive damage was done to the school with windows
smashed and doors broken.
“The parents could be held responsible for the damages and the
financial loss,” Pascual said.
