Migrant arrivals in U.S. reach two million

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The number of migrant arrivals into the U.S. via Mexico recently reached a count of two-million in August, 2022. This is an all-time high affected by the exodus of migrants from Cuba, Venezuelan and Nicaragua.

In the month of July, over 181,000 Border Patrol apprehensions of illegal migrants occurred at the U.S. – Mexico border, a similar number to the months prior.
