Chargers blackout lifted

A handful of local sponsors have guaranteed the purchase of enough tickets to ensure the Chargers home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday will be seen live in San Diego.  

According to Chargers.com, Union Bank, Donovan’s Steak & Chop House, Sycuan, the Brigantine Family of Restaurants and KFMB Channel 8 have combined to guarantee enough tickets will be sold to avoid a blackout.

The tickets purchased will go to various local youth programs around the county.
