Chargers hit the streets to thank San Diego

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – Charger players, cheerleaders and members of the organization will be out in force Monday thanking fans for their support as part of the team's designated “Thank you San Diego Day.”

“(Today) will be our day to say `thank you' to Chargers fans and get them ready for the season,” A.G. Spanos, Chargers CEO, said in a statement. “We're excited about our new leadership and direction and the possibilities that lie ahead, and we want our fans to feel that excitement.”

Chargers personnel will head to venues in North County, South County and East County, as well as making numerous stops throughout the city of San Diego. They will be thanking fans for supporting the team and building excitement for the upcoming season.
