Chevron robbed at gunpoint in Del Cerro

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — A gas station in the Del Cerro neighborhood was robbed at gunpoint Sunday, San Diego police said.

A man pulled a gun and demanded cash and then ran off with an undisclosed amount at the Chevron on the corner of Del Cerro Boulevard and College Avenue just after 11 p.m. Sunday, San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros said.

The man was described by police as 5 feet 6 inches and 250 pounds with “heavy acne on his face.” He was wearing a beanie, a gray hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
