Chick-fil-A employee saves the life of Chula Vista patron

CHULA VISTA (KUSI) – On September 12, 2019, Tauya Nenguke, a Chula Vista, California Chick-fil-A employee, made his gifts and skills apparent to the world while outside taking orders at the Drive thru at his job.

Across the parking lot he saw some frantic, panicked guys next to a car. He knew something was not right so he informed a co-worker that he was going to investigate and sprinted quickly across the parking lot to find a guy unconscious on the ground.

He immediately started chest compressions and instructed one of the guys friends to call 911. When the paramedics arrived they said his quick actions saved this young man’s life. The young man was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Tauya recently completed his pre-requisites for nursing school at a local community college where he also learned the life saving skill of CPR.

Nenguke’s mother has launched a GoFundMe to help him pay for nursing school so he can continue to save lives and follow his dreams.
