Children threatened, man stabbed by man on PCP, police say

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — A man was arrested after he threatened children in the Oak Park area and stabbed another man, police said Tuesday.

The man was believed to have been under the influence of PCP at the time of the stabbing — about 4 p.m. Monday at 3051 54th St. Earlier the suspect threatened children in the area, according to police.

Witnesses say the man, believed to be in his 30’s, was acting erratically before he stabbed the victim, estimated to be in his 50’s, police said.

Officers arrested the stabber on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and being under the influence of PCP.

The victim suffered a cut to the hand that was not life-threatening, police said.
