Walgreen’s pharmacy robbed by man pretending to have a gun in his jacket

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A pharmacy at a Chollas View Walgreen’s was robbed by a man pretending to have a gun in his jacket, according to the San Diego Police Department. The suspect put his hand in his jacket as if concealing a firearm, then handed a pharmacist a note demanding an undisclosed amount of prescription drugs, according to SDPD officer Dan Lasher.

The incident happened at the 602 Euclid Ave. Walgreen’s location shortly after 12 p.m. No one was hurt during the robbery.

The suspect was described as a white male in his 20’s, standing 5’11 and wearing a gray hooded jacket. He was last seen fleeing the scene on foot. Police ask anyone who may know more about the robbery to contact San Diego Police detectives or Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
