Christian 43, West Hills 29
In a non league match up with both teams away from home, the West Hills Wolf Pack travel to Granite Hills high, where they take on the Christian Patriots. Though West Hills, coached by Casey Ash, is a very young team with only two players that came back to play this year having played on varsity last year, he knew that this game would be a good fight.
Christian Patriots, coached by Matt Oliver, came to Granite Hills ready to play and the score showed it. Winning 43-29 against the Wolf Pack, the Patriots had a good game to put in their book. Quarterback David Jeremiah connected closely with Joey Morones a couple times giving the Patriots a lead that they kept throughout the game. One of the players, Chad Humphries, made his mark a few times until he cramped up in the third quarter and was taken off the field. Chad had his calves massaged and it seemed that the massage helped him because he came back at the beginning of the fourth and intercepted Spencer Moyer’s pass taking it back for a touch down like he was never hurt at all! He kept the lead of the Patriots going and they came out on top tonight!
