West Hills took a trip to Chula Vista High school to defend their undefeated record
The game started off great for the Wolf Pack as quarterback Jordin Young had a 66-yard touchdown run.
Later in the first, Young had an apparent wrist injury, resorting him to sit out the rest of the game.
Wide receiver Hunter Gautheir took his place, leading the Wolf Pack with a 30-yard run, late in the fourth. This big play would lead to a 12-yard touchdown by Gauthier.
The final score, West Hills 13, Chula Vista 0.
This would give the Wolf Pack their fourth consecutive win and their best start of a season since 2013.
The West Hills Wolf Pack (3-0) will be packing up and making a trip down to Chula Vista Spartan (2-1) territory this Friday at 7 p.m.
Chula Vista High is ready to faceoff West Hills at home after losing 30-7 at Escondido High last week.
The Spartans will be able to showcase their skills by using key players like Dylan Salle, who help on both offense and defense. Also stepping up on defense is Spartan, Faleapa Toilolo, who leads the team in six sacks over the past three games.
On the other side of the field, West Hills holds a clean 3-0 record, making them undefeated early on this season.
The Wolf Pack’s quarterback, Jordin Young, who scored three touchdowns against Santa Fe last week, is expected to challenge Chula Vista’s defense.
During a pregame interview, Spartans coach, Howard Bansister stated: “They’re a really good team but we think we can compete and come out with a win.”
Will the Wolf Pack be able to maintain their winning streak or will the have to give it up to the Spartan?
