City Council District 1 Democratic Candidate Aaron Brennan

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Eight candidates are facing off to succeed Barbara Bry in the San Diego City Council District 1 race.

From the Navy reserve to city lifeguard to firefighter, Democratic Candidate Aaron Brennan has been serving San Diego for more than 30 years.

If elected, the San Diego local wants to prioritize neighborhoods and families, housing and the homelessness emergency, and the climate crisis. His opponents include Democratic Candidates Joe LaCava, Will Moore, Harid Puentes and James Rudolph.
