City Heights Stabbing

A man was recuperating on Sunday from a cut he received
from two assailants who confronted him on the street Saturday night.

The incident occurred at 9:46 p.m. in the 3600 block of Fairmount
Avenue, San Diego Police officer David Stafford said.

“A Hispanic male, 39, was approached by two Hispanic males in their
teens to 20's,” Stafford said. “During the confrontation, one of the suspects
cut the victim under the chin with a sharp object.”

The stabbing victim, who was not identified, was transported to a
trauma center for treatment.

The two suspects remain at-large, Stafford said. The police gang unit
was investigating.
