City of San Diego removes car lane to install two bike lanes in Mira Mesa
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A bizarre new road design in Mira Mesa has an entire neighborhood wondering what happened.
For more than 50 years, Gold Coast Drive was a two way street with two lanes.
Suddenly it’s only one lane, but it’s still a “two way street”.
KUSI’s Dan Plante gets more insight on this crazy road infrastructure and finds another street in Point Loma that is chalked up to look similar to the one in Mira Mesa.
