Clairemont food drive sees great resident turnout
CLAIREMONT (KUSI) – Clairemont residents came together to help those in need this holiday season.
Keller Willams Reality and Holmber Automotive launched a food drive by leaving empty bags with information on the doorsteps of Clairemont residents.
The residents then proceeded to fill the bags to the brim with food and groceries for those who face food insecurity in San Diego County at a much higher rate than expected.
About 50 bags of food were collected to be picked up by the San Diego Food Bank. John Soderman was on-scene to see firsthand how it impacted the community.
