Cloudy skies, humid conditions replace hot temperatures in San Diego
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — Temperatures across San Diego County will be slightly above average Tuesday, but well below the soaring temperatures that stifled Southern California during last week’s record-breaking heat wave.
Monsoonal moisture could bring thunderstorms later in the week mostly to the mountains and deserts, but conditions should be dry Tuesday through Thursday. That moisture later in the week could also bring cooler weather Friday and Saturday before temperatures begin to rise again Sunday.
High temperatures Tuesday will be 75 to 80 degrees at the beaches, 79 to 84 inland, 81 to 86 in the western valleys, 85 to 90 near the foothills, 84 to 92 in the mountains and 104 to 109 in the deserts.
