Celebrities and the community come together to raise funds for Down Syndrome.

Last Comic Standing winner Dat Phan and DS Action President, Sharla Hank were on Good Morning San Diego talking with KUSI's Alexis DelChiaro about a fundraiser they're teaming up for to benefit Down Syndrome.

DS Action, a local non-profit organization, has partnered with celebrity headliner, Dat Phan, to support individuals with Down syndrome and their families for a Charity Comedy Event & Auction. Dick's Last Resort has opened its doors to host this fundraiser on Sunday, December 19th, the venue will be transformed into a holiday entertainment showcase.

The festivities will begin with a pre-show of music and silent auction bidding. Immediately following is the main event, headliner Dat Phan and a team of comedians, along with a live auction. Tickets can be purchased through StayClassy (www.stayclassy.org), with general admission starting at $20.

For more information regarding the entertainment line up, to purchase tickets or make a donation, please follow the link on DS Action's home page (www.dsaction.com) by clicking on the event flyer.
