Comfortable temperatures before heat wave moves in to San Diego
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — A deep marine layer will clear mid-day Thursday leaving behind plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures.
A thick marine layer has moved into the valley areas but by 11 a.m. Sunday, most of the county should see mostly sun. Humidity has diminished so conditions should be pleasant with no mugginess.
Over the weekend, temperatures will soar as a ridge of high pressure moves in to the county and pushes out the marine layer. Temperatures will increase by a few degrees Friday and peak Sunday through Tuesday.
Thursday’s high temperatures are expected to be 74 degrees along the coast, 86 degrees inland, 80 degrees in the mountains and for the deserts.
