Comic-Con attendees express concern about speeding scooters

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — As 130,000 Comic Con attendees descend upon San Diego, members of law enforcement are on high alert, for let’s say a terrorist attack.

But Comic Con attendees say they are not no much worried about an act of terror, than they are about something else the speeding scooter rider.

Lydia Franklin tells KUSI the scooter riders are endangering Comic Con’s super crowded sidewalks. “And they don’t even say ‘Excuse me’ “she lamented.

Many scooter riders can be seen cruising crowded sidewalks without the required helmets. Some can also be seen riding with young barefoot children on the scooters, definite recipes for dangerous accidents.
