Community Bone Marrow Drive

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Multiple Myeloma is a rare form of blood cancer where patients need a bone marrow transplant to help save their lives.

A community bone marrow drive is being held to help find donor matches for patients battling blood cancers.

Robert “Dukie” Valderrama, National City community activist and Port Commissioner, and Christina Gomez, who is battling Multiple Myeloma, were in studio to tell us more about it.
