Community rallies to help owner find missing Great Dane

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — Members of a San Diego community are asking the public to help locate a missing Great Dane.

On Jan. 9, the 150lb Great Dane named “Bane” went missing in National City and was last seen near South 47th St. and Logan Avenue.

Bane has severe IBS which makes his weight fluctuate dramatically as well as being prone to bloat.

His owner — David Garay — was injured in a motorcycle accident a few weeks after Bane went missing and has been unable to join the search for his dog.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for Bane’s safe return. Contact David Garay at #619-764-8207 or by email at with any information on Bane.
