Community Resource Center launches new program to help domestic violence victims

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The Community Resource Center has launched a new Housing First program to help domestic violence victims.

Executive Director of Community Resource Center, John Van Cleef, visited Good Morning San Diego to discuss the program.

Community Resource Center (CRC) is one of four San Diego agencies awarded funding this year by the California Office of Emergency Services for the Domestic Violence Housing First Program.

The other agencies include: Home Start, Inc., San Diego Youth Services and YWCA of San Diego. CalOES provided $1.2 million in funds to San Diego County and $9.6 million in new funds across the state.
