Convicted felon opens barber shop to help keep kids off the street

CHULA VISTA (KUSI) — KUSI’s Dan Plante spoke with Justino Alarcon, who turned his time in prison into a productive career.

During his 17 years behind bars, Alcaron dedicated his life to improving himself, and it worked.

Now he is using the skills and lessons he learned in prison to help other kids stay off the streets and get out of trouble.

Alcaron opened The Locker Room Barber Shop in Chula Vista, which he now uses to help give back to local youth and help them stay out of trouble.
