Cool conditions Friday before temperatures warm this weekend in San Diego County

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — Temperatures are expected to stay well below average Friday for a second consecutive day as a low-pressure system continues to pass over San Diego County.

Very light, patchy drizzle is possible in the morning Friday as a thick marine layer covers much of the county west of the mountains. The weather will begin to warm slightly over the weekend and into next week before cooling again in the second half of next week.

High temperatures Friday will be 73 degrees at the beaches and inland, 71 to 76 in the western valleys and near the foothills, 66 to 75 in the mountains and 89 to 94 in the deserts.
