Cooler and possible wet Christmas for San Diego
SAN DIEGO (CNS) – It won’t be a white Christmas Thursday, but it will be a cooler one, and possibly a wet one for some, thanks to a weak storm front passing through the county, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.
“We had a small weather system move through overnight,” said NWS forecaster Mike Watkins. “It should cause very little precipitation, if any, through this afternoon. There could be a few sprinkles, and perhaps light rain showers, in some areas.”
The passing storm front also cooled temperatures down a few degrees, bringing temperatures down to about normal for this time of year, Watkins said.
The forecaster said temperatures countywide are stable and expected to remain about the same over the next few days.
