Coronado Bridge reopens after potential jumper taken into custody

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – Both the north and southbound lanes of the Coronado Bridge were closed for nearly an hour Wednesday night after a man threatened to jump off the bridge.

The bridge lanes were closed from 9:30 p.m. and re-opened at 10:25 p.m. a California Highway Patrol dispatcher said.

The man was in custody and investigations were continuing, the dispatcher said.
