Corvette Diner Alarm Clock Pep Rally Game: Olympian Eagles 56, Hilltop Lancers 6
The Olympian Eagles get the big win 56-6 on homecoming in the Corvette Diner Alarm Clock pep rally game.
The Eagles put the game out of reach early thanks to some powerful offensive plays. David Tirey would have two touchdowns in the first half including a 17 yard scamper. Arnold Escano opened the scoring with a 32 yard run thanks to some great blocking. Quarterback Nico Mendoza was able to find Isiah Williams for a 38 yard touchdown in order to give the Eagles a 21-0 lead.
The Lancers would get on the board in the second as Gus Ferreira took the direct snap and ran in for the 35 yard score. The Eagles continued to find ways to put more points on the board. Williams giving the team great field position after running a kick off back out past the 50. That was all that was needed to help get Treyvion Davies in position to score. Davies found the end zone twice for Olympian on the night.
The Eagles defense kept the pressure on as Rock Gonzalez picked up the fumble and ran the ball in for the touchdown.
Up next for the Eagles they improve to 3-1 and will take on the Pointers in Point Loma. Hilltop will attempt to rebound against Castle Park.

The Week 3 Corvette Diner Alarm Clock Pep Rally Game brings us to Olympian as they battle Hilltop High School.
The Eagles are 2-1 and coming off a big win over Poway. Quarterback Nico Mendoza gets it done on the ground and in the air. The senior has 8 passing touchdowns and one rushing. Senior wide receiver Isaiah Williams is Mendoza’s top target and averages about 75 receiving yards per game. He has 3 touchdowns on the season. Receiver Mikael Tyler also has grabbed 3 touchdowns this season. Rashaun Brown has 217 rushing yards on the year and 3 touchdowns. He also gets it done when he catches the ball, like he has done 10 times this year for 182 yards and one touchdown.
The Lancers meanwhile are 1-2 this season hoping to right the ship after two straight losses. Hilltop has had success when Jeremiah Rivera has been able to put them on the board. He has 183 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns on the season. Quarterback Daniel Mcpherren has only managed one touchdown pass this season against Eastlake and that was to Rivera.
