County Supervisor Dianne Jacob on Valley Fire road closures

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Once people evacuate and leave they cannot return to a fire zone due to hazards such as flames, embers (not seen by your eyes), downed power lines, debris, lack of clean water.

Officials want warm people to make a plan and have your go bag ready with the essentials important documents, cash, credit cards, memorabilia, clothing, medication.

If you left animals behind, County Animal Services and San Diego Humane Society can help feed them or rescue them.

San Diego County Supervisor Dianne Jacob joined Good Morning San Diego to discuss the Valley Fire including the road closures.
