DA Summer Stephan says there has been a rise in hate crimes against the Asian community

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Anti-Asian sentiments have been turning into hateful incidents at a higher rate since the coronavirus pandemic began, and San Diego District Attorney Summer Stephan says our region is no exception.

Stephan joined KUSI’s Paul Rudy on Good Morning San Diego to explain how her office plans to fight hate crimes.
