Dead whale found floating off Torrey Pines State Beach

TORREY PINES (KUSI) – A dead whale was found floating off Torrey Pines State Beach on Thursday.

San Diego Lifeguard Services said the whale appeared to have been floating for awhile. It was first spotted about three-quarters of a mile off the beach, according to San Diego Lifeguards.

Lifeguards have contracted a marine mammal group to decide how best to handle the carcass.
