Dead whale found off coast of Torrey Pines State Reserve

A dead whale was found off the coast of Torrey Pines State Reserve late yesterday morning. It was moved to Fiesta Island and could be transported to a landfill this morning.

Ed Lenderman says scientists will try to determine its cause of death — illness or collision with a ship — later today.
