Deadly bush fires in Australia threaten livelihoods and homes

AUSTRALIA (KUSI) – Australia is facing its worst wildfire season in decades with fires burning in every state across the country.

At least 17 people have been killed, others are missing and nearly 1,300 homes have been destroyed.

To add to the threatened residents, experts estimate that nearly a third of the koala bear population has also been decimated.
