Death under investigation in Allied Gardens area

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — A woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances at an Allied Gardens home Friday afternoon.

The fatality at a multi-unit residential complex in the 7600 block of Mission Gorge Road was reported about 1:15 p.m., according to San Diego police.

Patrol officers who initially responded to the death call summoned a homicide team to investigate, Sgt. Michael Tansey said.

No further details were available as of late afternoon, the sergeant said.
