Displaced thoroughbreds headed back to San Luis Rey Training Center

Some 400 horses who’ve been stranded at the Del Mar Race Track since the Lilac Fire tore through the San Luis Rey Training Track, are headed back to Bonsall.

As KUSI’s Ed Lenderman reports, repairs at the heavily damaged thoroughbred training center are almost finished and it’s time for the horses to come home.
