Nine San Diegans were honored Tuesday for their extraordinary courage in the face of violent crime.

It was all part of District Attorney Summer Stephan’s annual Citizens of Courage Awards luncheon.

KUSI was joined by District Attorney Summer Stephan and Maria Figueroa, one of the people honored at the luncheon.
