Does Caitlyn Jenner have a chance at becoming Governor of California?

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Californians continue to gear up for an all but certain recall election later this year.

Although the recall election has not been officially called and no date has been set, candidates are already starting their campaigns.

Earlier this week, gubernatorial candidate Caitlyn Jenner launched her first campaign ad (below), where she branded herself as a, “compassionate disrupter,” fighting against career politicians.

Wednesday night, Jenner sat down with Fox News’ Sean Hannity for her first interview since making the announcement that she is running for Governor of California.

Jenner shared details of the passions she’s highlighting during her campaign saying, “the golden state is worth fighting for.” Jenner had the economic devastation brought on by the pandemic was far worse than necessary, and she blamed Gavin Newsom’s response for that devastation.

Political consultant John Dadian joined KUSI’s Paul Rudy on Good Morning San Diego to discuss Jenner’s chances of becoming Governor of California.

KUSI Contributor, AM 760 Radio Host Mark Larson, joined Good Evening San Diego to talk about Jenner’s first campaign ad.
