Doesn’t Add Up!
Monday, April 23, 2012 – KUSI's Michael Turko has uncovered a plan to replace downtown Magnolia trees with expensive palms on a busy downtown street. Turko says it's part of a new bus transit plan using tax money that's supposed to be used for transportation improvements. Several committees and downtown boards, and possibly the full city council still have to approve the palm tree plan before it takes effect. The new bus routes are scheduled to be in service by 2014.
