Donnie Edwards’ Best Defense Foundation to host honor walk commemorating Battle of the Bulge

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Donnie Edwards, a two-time All-Pro and a 2002 Pro Bowl selection who played 13 seasons with the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs and San Diego Chargers, and the Best Defense Foundation have teamed up with Events.com to host an Honor Walk this Sunday, Dec. 20, to commemorate the 76th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge.

The Honor Walk is an opportunity for people to remember the sacrifices and valor exhibited by U.S. troops during the Battle of the Bulge, the battle that turned the tide of World War II and halted Germany’s final offensive push, leading to victory for Allied Forces.

Anyone can participate in Sunday’s Honor Walk and participants can walk as long (or short) as they choose. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, those who choose to participate are encourage to practice social distancing.

Edwards joined KUSI’s Paul Rudy on Good Morning San Diego to discuss the upcoming walk and explain how you can participate or help out.
